COMPANY- A MUSICAL COMEDY

Peter is thrilled for his 3rd show with Rise Up, and in one of his favorite Sondheim shows. He’s an actor and director in the Sacramento area and studied theatre at UC Berkeley. He most recently directed The Drowsy Chaperone for Rise Up. Previous acting roles include: Woodland’s Something Rotten (Nick Bottom) and Amelie (Lucien), CRC’s Urinetown (Bobby Strong), The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia? (Billy), 3 productions of Assassins (Balladeer / Lee Harvey Oswald), Avenue Q (Princeton), Sweeney Todd (Tobias Ragg).

Morgan is elated to be back on the Rise Up stage. You may have seen her last as Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme in Rise Up’s production of Assassins. Morgan has been working on the other side of the table recently as Music Director for our productions of Tick, Tick… Boom and The Drowsy Chaperone. A few of her favorite credits have been; Director/Choreographer for Finding Nemo, Jr., Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, and Maureen Johnson in RENT. A special thanks to Rikki Pratt for taking on the Music Director title for this production. Additional thanks to Morgan’s friends, family, and partner, Hugo for all the love and support on and off the stage. 

Katie Ibarra is honored to be returning to Rise Up Theatre in Company, having previously appeared as Sara Jane Moore in RUTC's production of Assassins. Other local roles include Patsy Johnson (Rimers of Eldritch), Denise (Wild Dust: The Musical), Katherine Chelsea Hartford (The Taming), Elizabeth Lavenza (Frankenstein), Nan Carter (Exit, Pursued By A Bear), Nelly Fail (Failure: A Love Story), Mona (Then) (Come Back To The Five And Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean), April (Company). She has also worked as a director, stage manager, dancer, and choreographer. By day, she is a preschool principal. For more personal information, ask her mother. 

Steve is happy to be working with Rise Up for the first time. He has been involved in music and acting in local theatre since 2008. He plays drums, guitar, and bass. Steve most recently appeared in FAKING SALVATION, an original comedy at Resurrection Theatre. He has played Cooper in WILD DUST and Woody Guthrie (the first one) in WOODY GUTHRIE'S AMERICAN SONG, a role that he will be reprising later this year. If you have ever seen a Panto at Sacramento City College, you've seen him play drums. Steve first saw Company in 2017 when his girlfriend Katie was playing April. It feels special to get to be a part of this show with her now, years later, being a married couple on stage and off stage.

Christopher is making his stage debut with Rise Up Theatre Company in Company. While this is his first time auditioning and performing, Christopher has previously contributed behind the scenes as a set builder for productions including The Play That Goes Wrong, Something Rotten!, and Night of the Living Dead. He also worked in technical theater providing lighting for The Drowsy Chaperone, where he discovered his deep appreciation for musical theater.

Inspired by his experience in technical theater. He is grateful for the opportunity to perform alongside such a talented cast and to support Rise Up Theatre Company’s mission of bringing the community together through the performing arts.

Sarita Rollins is very excited to be on stage with this talented cast in Rise Up Theatre's production of Company! They have worked with Rise Up in their three most recent productions; Drowsy Chaperone as the stage manager and tech, Night of the Living Dead as Judy, and now Company as Amy! They are very excited to be playing in their very first singing role since they joined the community theatre world. Sarita has been acting since they were fourteen and has so much respect for the wonderful director Courtney for giving them a chance despite everyone knowing how much stage fright was involved in the initial singing auditions. They hope you enjoy the show and they want to thank you for being our company.

Tom is excited to make his debut with Rise Up Theatre Company and to collaborate with such a talented and welcoming cast. Having started his acting journey in late 2023, he is already celebrating his 11th production in the region. He has previously performed with Roseville Theater Academy of the Arts, Stage Right Productions, and Sutter Street Theater. From lovable goofballs to tender romantic leads to misunderstood villains, Tom embraces any opportunity to entertain and connect with an audience. Following this show, he will appear in the dark comedy Wonder of the World this summer with Main Street Theater Works.

Jianna Eugenio is honored to be in great company for her first Rise Up Theatre production! A dynamic performing artist from Sacramento, Jianna is known to bring light to audiences that leave them feeling seen and inspired. She holds a BA in Communications from Sacramento

State University, and is a proud alumna of the Cosumnes River College Music Program where she studied vocal performance with baritone, and Professor of Vocal Music, Omari Tau. A

versatile artist, Jianna paints stories across a palette of genres ranging from classical to contemporary styles. As a mezzo-soprano, she has performed with Light Opera Theatre Sacramento, Rogue Music Project, and Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera. As a singer-songwriter, Jianna appeared in the PBS television program “Celebration of Music,” where she shared her musical journey with artists across the United States. In the world of theatre, some of her favorite roles include Jenny Diver (THE THREEPENNY OPERA), and Pennelope

Pennywise from CRC River Stage’s production of URINETOWN. She thanks her family, friends, and teachers for their endless support. Here’s to the cast and crew of COMPANY! Enjoy the show!

Hugo is excited to return to the Rise Up stage for the first time since Avenue Q in 2023! Some notable theatre credits include: Roger (Rent), Nick Bottom (Something Rotten), Anthony Hope (Sweeney Todd), Prince Eric (The Little Mermaid, Cogsworth (Beauty and the Beast), Officer Lockstock (Urinetown), Chip Tolentino (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee). Outside of theatre, you can catch Hugo tooting for his back-to-back World Series Champions Los Angeles Dodgers, Dallas Cowboys, Sacramento Kings, and Chivas de Guadalajara, at Disneyland, at work as a SCRAM agent, or spending time with his wonderful wife, Morgan, who he loves sharing the stage with! Hugo would like to thank the cast and crew for all they do to make this a wonderful show! Hugo would also like to thank his family and friends for all their support! 

Audrey Di Paolo is thrilled to be in her first production with Rise Up Theatre Co. and her fourth ever musical! Audrey is a Theatre student at Cosumnes River College and hopes to continue to create art for as long as she can. Audrey has previously appeared in RENT as Joanne Understudy/Ensemble, Urinetown as Officer Barrel, and Nunsense as Mother Superior for which she was nominated for a BroadwayWorld Sacramento Award for Best Actress in a Musical. Audrey is very grateful for the opportunity to work with many friends and like-minded artists. The positive energy and emphasis placed on collaboration by this team throughout every rehearsal is a breath of fresh air in a community that can often be unkind to artists

Christina has been performing in and around the Sacramento area for the past 10+ years and hopes to never stop! Other favorite past shows include: The Prom, In the Heights, Hair, All Shook Up, and White Christmas. Huge thank you to the entire Company artistic team without whom this show would not be possible. Christina would also like to thank her partner Adam for his endless love and support, and for keeping their house running while she plays at rehearsal. Faye is so excited to be a part of Company! In her time at Cosumnes River College, she’s been a part of the following shows: Assassins (Ensemble), Urinetown (Little Becky Two Shoes), and Water By The Spoonful (Orangutan). She is finishing up her Music Transfer Degree at Cosumnes River College and she has studied under Omari Tau. She was also a part of The Drowsy Chaperone (Ensemble) with Rise Up Theatre. In her free time, she likes to read, play D&D, and collect various amounts of blind boxes. Faye thanks her friends, family, teachers, and her community for constantly supporting her in efforts to pursue her dream.

Victor is incredibly excited to be performing in his second show with this amazing company. His first production with RUTC was Assassins in 2023, where he played Giuseppe Zangara. He was

grateful to be welcomed with open arms, and that experience helped launch his theatre journey throughout Sacramento and Yolo County, from The Ooley Theatre in Midtown in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street as Pirelli, to Davis Musical Theatre Company in Davis

as the Baker in Into the Woods, Lord Savage in Jekyll & Hyde, Jamie and Zoltan Karpathy in My Fair Lady, and Artie Green in Sunset Blvd. Coming all the way from Fairfield as a graphic designer by day, he is always happy to make the trip to showcase his skills, make new friends,

and continue learning about himself through his time in the area. He is deeply thankful to Courtney for directing this show and inviting him back, as well as to the musical director and the choreographer. He also wants to thank them for trusting him as the lift and safety captain for this production (be prepared for the Strong Man Contest). He is grateful to the entire cast and crew for putting this show together. He also appreciates his family, who have supported him wholeheartedly throughout his theatre journey. Most of all, Victor wants to thank his girlfriend, who has been his biggest supporter and has given him so much love and care; love he gives right back to her. “I can’t wait to share the stage with you again, baby. Julian  is excited to work with Rise Up Theatre and join in their production of COMPANY. Julian has worked in the Sacramento Community theatre scene since his first production with B Street Theatre in BORN YESTERDAY which also utilized the CRC stage. Since then, he has taken part in productions with City Theatre (Sac City College), Sacramento Shakespeare Festival, the Lambda Players, Resurrection Theatre, Stand out Talent, Sac State Theatre, Teatro Espejo, R25, Teatro Nagual, and Big Idea Theatre. Some of his favorite roles have been Kevin Rosario in IN THE HEIGHTS, Lady Capulet in ROMEO AND JULIET, Robert Walton in FRANKENTSEIN, and Hero in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING. While he has a passion for the stage, Julian has also worked on the technical side of the house as a Director, Assistant Director, Stage Manager, lighting designer, sound designer, set designer, and costumer. Julian wants to thank all of his family, both blood and found, for shaping him into the man he is today. He hopes he makes all of them proud and hopes to one day find his own partner so he doesn’t end up like poor Bobby.

Arianna is extremely grateful to be joining Rise Up Theatre in their production of Company. Performing in Company is particularly special to her because she once spent an entire semester writing a research paper about Stephen Sondheim and how his works challenged the idea of how musical theatre was written. Arianna has also been seen in Murder Mystery Theatre on the Delta King, Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray,  Reggie Flutty in The Laramie Project, and even gender bending as Jafar in Aladdin. She would like to thank her three cats Moose, Vincent, and Skelly for being so understanding while she was at rehearsal. They will continue to receive freshly grown catnip from the garden as bribes. 

Aurora is deeply grateful to be performing for the first time with Rise Up Theatre Co. in their production of Company. It’s been such a privilege to work with and learn from director Courtney Conklin as well as their fellow cast members. Previously, Aurora performed in ARC’s Amélie the Musical as Suzanne and Wedding Band as Lula Green.

Other past credits include Ragtime (Stage 1 Theatre), Spring Awakening (Solano Community College), and The Wedding Singer (Diablo Valley College). Love and thanks to Mom, Tanner Kai, Brian, and all the animals.

Selena is thrilled to make her debut with Rise Up Theater! Her recent credits include Young Frankenstein, Fiddler on the Roof, and Oklahoma! at DMTC—and yes, she can still sing the alto parts from all three if you ask nicely (or offer snacks). She also worked backstage on Puffs at the Woodland Opera House, where she learned tech cues can be just as (or more) chaotic as being onstage. When she isn’t on stage belting, dancing, or dramatically pretending to sell fish, Selena works for the University of California, where she is known for her serious professionalism and absolutely not for reciting monologues to the office plants. In her spare time, Selena enjoys reading, drawing, and meticulously painting Dungeons & Dragons mini figures—because nothing says “well-rounded artist” like spending three hours perfecting a goblin’s left shoe.

Dominic "Dom" is a performer born and raised in Califirnia. She has been singing for as long as she can remember coming from a  musical family. In middle school and high school she began her love affair with Theatre. Dominic would go on to train in Music and Theatre and come to the conclusion that this was her desired career path. Now you meet Dominic in her early adulthood as she continues her formal education in Music performance. You may have seen her in projects such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Dracula ( The Town Of Sibiu ). 

Courtney is thrilled to bring COMPANY to life alongside this exceptionally talented cast and crew. As the founder of Rise Up Theatre Company, her deep passion for theatre, arts, education, and film drives her work, backed by an award-winning background in both film and stage direction., as well as a brilliant board of directors who work tirelessly to make sure we stay running. 

A production of this scale (thank you Sondheim)  truly takes a village. Courtney extends her deepest gratitude to the Cosumnes River College arts staff for their incredible support and for generously allowing RUTC to share their beautiful home.

To Courtney, the theatre community is everything. This "theatre family" means the world to her, and she is profoundly grateful to every member of the cast and crew for their hard work. Logan is so delighted to welcome you to Company! You may have seen her choreography recently in Drowsy Chaperone (RiseUp) and Rent (The Ooley Theatre). Logan has also recently appeared on stage in A Chorus Line (Val) and Legally Blonde (Pilar / Dance Captain). When Logan isn’t choreographing or on stage herself she is a Manager for Dutch Bros Coffee. She would love to thank the Company (no pun intended) for all of their hard work throughout the rehearsal process and for the joy they bring to every aspect of this show. Enjoy the show! 

Rikki Pratt attended Concordia University Irvine for a Bachelor of Arts in Music with an emphasis in vocal performance. Rikki has sung with several vocal ensembles, including the Sacramento Master Singers and the award-winning Sweet Adelines barbershop quartet "Heavenly", and currently sings with the Sacramento Opera Chorus, most recently performing in their production of La Traviata. Along with her love of ensemble singing, Rikki is passionate about musical theatre and opera. With Light Opera Theatre Sacramento, she has performed roles including Phoebe (Yeomen of the Guard), Iolanthe (Iolanthe), and Counsel for the Plaintiff (Trial by Jury), and has also served as Stage Manager for several of their productions. Additional favorite roles include Marmee (Little Women: The Musical) and Mrs. Potts (Beauty and the Beast). She has directed many choirs and handbell ensembles, and has served as Music Director for productions including Young Frankenstein, Daddy Long Legs, The Threepenny Opera, and Sunset Boulevard. Rikki has performed at prestigious venues across the US, Australia, and Europe, including St. Peter's Basilica, the Berliner Dom, and the Salzburg Residenz Palace.

Jarod Wiggins is a born and raised Sacramento performing artist. They are a former Capital Stage apprentice and Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors. Jarod has had the pleasure of fight choreographing for several theatre this year including Capital Stage’s FAT HAM, Teatro Nagual’s WOLF AT THE DOOR, and Hummingbird Theatre Company’s ROMEO AND JULIET. Jarod is thrilled to be working back with Rise Up even if he’s not personally taking the stage. He loved playing Czolgosz in their production of ASSASSINS a few years ago and now has loved being able to work with the amazing cast of COMPANY behind the scenes. He hopes you all find the fights silly yet exciting!  

Natasha is a Theatre tech major at CRC. This is her first time working with Rise Up Theatre and she is excited to be part of this production of Company! Natasha has  resently worked on Music Circus's Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair, Westside Story, and In The Heights (Props Artisan), CRC’s Rent (Stage Manager), and Birdmocking (Props manager) at DDSO. Natasha has been working behind the scenes in theatre for 8 years, and is looking forward to working with Rise Up Theatre Company on their upcoming season of shows. This is the first production Natasha is “calling the show” as the lead tech, and she is thrilled to have the opportunity and to continue to hone her skills, while helping others learn. She is excited to be a part of the Rise Up Family, and thanks to Courtney for helping with her bio. Enjoy the show. 

Aspen is psyched to finally get back behind the scenes after being exclusively onstage for the past couple years. While he does love to perform, he also loves to sit in the dark and fiddle with the music just as much. You may have seen him recently as Micheal in tick, tick… BOOM! with Rise Up Theatre Company, in RENT at Cosumnes River College, or in Hummingbird Theatre Company’s Romeo and Juliet or Music Hall Spectaculaire. Aspen is glad to return to the fantastic culture of Rise Up, and hopes to do the stellar cast justice - aren’t they a gem? Let’s all drink to them!
